Patron Guides: Hoopla

Help for patrons learning different aspects of library technology.

The Central Kansas Library System is ending consortium support for Hoopla on February 28, 2025.

Some libraries may choose to continue funding Hoopla individually after that time.

Hoopla is a digital media service offered to your local library by the Central Kansas Library System.

Hoopla allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, phone, or smart TV.

With no waiting for holds, titles can be streamed immediately or downloaded to devices for offline enjoyment later.

When using Hoopla in the Central Kansas Library System service area, most patrons will have a checkout limit of 4 items per month (may vary by home library).

If you need help getting started with Hoopla, check out the resources on this page or contact your local library for assistance.
